National Poetry Foundation

Publisher Description

The National Poetry Foundation, affiliated with the University of Maine in Orono, began in 1972 as a center for scholarly work on Ezra Pound and the Pound tradition. Over the years its focus expanded to include poets of later generations. In addition to publishing two journals, Paideuma (published from 1972 to the present) and Sagetrieb (1982-2015), the National Poetry Foundation has published the "Person and Poet" series, books of scholarship on Ezra Pound, and collections of poetry. NPF also hosts conferences every few years at the University of Maine.
